Meeting Dates

Town Council meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Clermont Town Hall (9049 Crawfordsville Road), unless noted as a "special" meeting.

Meeting dates for 2022:
  • August 18 @ 6 p.m. Special Meeting
  • September 8 @ 6:30 p.m. Special Budget Meeting combined with regular meeting
  • October 20 @ 6:30 p.m. Special Budget Adoption Meeting combined with regular meeting
  • November 10
  • December 8
Residents are encouraged to attend the Council meetings, and public comment is permitted at the beginning of every meeting. Meeting minutes are available upon request.
CLERMONT TOWN COUNCIL MEETING PROTOCOL
  • Adhere to the written agenda.
  • Each Commissioner's report to be maximum 15 minutes.
  • Guest speaker's presentation to be allowed 15 minutes.
  • Regular meeting length limited to one hour.
  • Guiding principle to be "Seek first to understand before seeking to be understood."
  • Discussion to be focused on the issue and not on personalities.
  • All members participate in a discussion.
  • One person speaks at a time, and in a normal voice.
  • Speak for yourself and not for others.
  • Adhere to the Mission Statement.
  • Be open to new ideas and areas for improvement, suggestions.
  • The meeting starts on time and ends on time.
